Sypnosis: Chanyeol lives in the southern part of Caloocan city, struggling to juggle school and family life until he hears about the Byuns needing a maid.

In Quezon City, Baekhyun reads his scripts and attends his private lessons, oblivious to the world outside his bubble.

Disclaimer: I have only ever been to Manila once and that was in 2011 when PAL misunderstood the time dates my family was trying to book so we ended up having a 24hr stay at my uncle's "house". His "house" wasn't a real house. It was in the slums where he had one room dedicated for living room/kitchen/dining room, 1 bathroom and a very small "bedroom"... Though it was poor and the only entrance was through an alley way, I loved it (oddly lol). When I think back on it, it was comfortable and even though he didn't have a lot, it felt very much like a home.

Other than my uncle's place, I'm not educated on the geography and my knowledge on the provinces are from wikipedia so I'm sorry for any inaccurate information, but also @ me when my ass is wrong.

Author's Note: I would like to thank M for helping me birth the original story and the plot before I went on hiatus, and I'd like to thank Jam for helping me with the newer ideas that I randomly came up with. This story was original for a fest but I never ended up writing my ideas for it. I ended up mixing it with some story ideas that I previously had years before so I changed a lot of the details while constructing this piece. I hope you guys enjoy this story. Dedication: I want to dedicate this story to my grandparents, not because it's a gay fic or it's baekyeol or etc etc... The scenery inspiration stems from the Philippine country side, especially in the rice farms in Bukidnon where I spent most of my days with my Lolo and Lola..... This story contains noncon, dubcon, violence/abuse, and drugs. This was written with the naive mind of my 16 year old self. In manga, relationships with possessive doms/semes was always something I found attractive. At times, overpossessiveness and jealousy was something I was interested it. NOW OLDER, I know that romanticizing abusive relationships (like excessively possessive/demanding/controlling) is something that is very dangerous in real life and causes many men and women to have trauma (sometimes die).

This is fiction, but be careful when reading that you do not romanticize what you read in fiction and project it onto real life issues. Looking back at this story, I realize my mistakes and I do have regrets writing certain things. At the time, I did not know that this story would become one of the "must reads" in the Chanbaek fandom. This story will remain up for as long as LJ exists, but the most I can do without removing this story is warn you all and slap your hand before you get on this rollercoaster ride.

With this being said, if anything makes you uncomfortable, SCROLL PAST IT OR SKIP THE CHAPTER. I can assure you, you will not miss anything that won't be mentioned in pieces in the next few chapters.
