overlord_nim because CJ and I are always all about bromance, because bromance has a subtle a;sldfkja;lsdk to it and bro jokes are very very very very likely to happen between these two poops, so :D ♥ I wrote this in 35 minutes in the graphic design because I really dont think I need to relearn what the different blur tools are...
“So…Do you want to get married?”
Baekhyun stopped suckling on his milkshake straw. “Huh?”
Shrugging, Chanyeol gave him a nonchalant expression. “Married, you know. Like going to a church and taking vows and stuff.”
“Mmm…”
“But as friends.”
Raising a brow, Baekhyun tilted his head. “Oh, you want to get married as friends?
“Yeah.”
It was a weird idea, but it wasn’t a bad one. Heaving his shoulders, Baekhyun stuck a fry into his mouth. “Yeah, sure. Why not.”
-
-
Taking a thorough look at his hand, Baekhyun hummed. “I like this ring. It’s nice. Do you like yours?”
“Yeah, I like mine,” Chanyeol replied, looking at his own. Then he looked up and smiled at the sales person. “I think we’ll take these.”
-
-
“How do you like the cake?”
Chewing carefully, Chanyeol fell into a concentrated state. “I think I liked the chocolate one better.”
“Really?” Baekhyun asked, looking at his own plate. “I think I liked the vanilla with red velvet filling inside it.”
Thinking, Chanyeol looked at the cake baker. “Can we have the cake half chocolate and half vanilla?”
“Yes, we can sir.”
“Then we’ll do that.”
Nodding, the baker took the plates away, leaving the two alone. Then Baekhyun gently nudged his fiancé on the knee. “I’m excited for the cake.”
“Same here.”

-
Chanyeol sat in the waiting room until Baekhyun entered, wearing a white suit with a cute polka dotted bow. He looked stunning and the giant couldn’t have been more in awe.
“Does it look okay? I really like this one, especially with this bow. It’s fun, don’t you think?”
“I actually really like this one, too.”
“Do you think it’ll match yours?”
“Absolutely,” Chanyeol said breathlessly.
“Okay!”
-
-
The wedding was cute but simple, held at a garden. Their family members were present, slightly confused at why it was all happening, but when Baekhyun walked down the aisle, it didn’t seem like the bride and groom cared very much for the odd situation. So with no objections, they got married.
-
-
Consummating their married was fun. Chanyeol had never really stuck his dick in anything but his own hand, but Baekhyun’s butt was better. And the brunette never had anything go in him beside his own fingers, but Chanyeol’s thick cock was slightly addictive.
When they were sticky with sweat and cum, they got up, looked at each other and laughed.
-
-
They were in the store when Chanyeol slightly jealous for the first time. Shopping for furniture was a fun experience until some macho buffo guy decided to start flirting with his husband.
He’s my friend, Chanyeol thought. Then he realize, No, he’s my husband.
Then he shook himself from the thought.
Baekhyun’s just a friend.
But that was a bit false by technicality.
-
-
“Chanyeol, I have the medicine.”
A groan came from the bedroom. “Thank you…” the giant croaked.
“Anything for you,” Baekhyun answered back, setting the medicine on the kitchen counter to go and retrieve water.
-
-
Mama Park sat across the couple. The waiter came by to refill their drinks and Chanyeol was contently feeding Baekhyun some of his own food.
“So…Are you two planning on adopting soon?”
Chanyeol nearly chocked, but Baekhyun giggled. “Maybe.”
Maybe?
Shifting his eyes to the brunette, Chanyeol gave him a puzzled look. “We are?”
“Yeah, I thought you felt the same way.” Baekhyun gave him the look with sparkling eyes. “I think we’d make great parents, Yeol. Teach them all about love and friendship, you know. That entire bunch.”
“Are you two still doing that friends-but-married thing?” Mama Park asked. “It’s been two years.”
Baekhyun shrugged. “It’s what we agreed on. I don’t see why we wouldn’t still be friends-but-married.”
“Chanyeol?”
Jerking, Chanyeol raised his eyes to his mother. “What he said.”

One night, Chanyeol returned home smelling like perfume and Baekhyun, worried sick and fretting over the giant, was furious.
“Couldn’t you have called!?” he yelled behind a tired Chanyeol who wasn’t in the mood. “It’s one in the morning. What were you doing out so late, anyway? And…And why the hell do you smell like this? This is a woman’s scent…”
Then he paused.
“Were you cheating on me!?”
“Park Baekhyun, let it go,” Chanyeol groaned, pulling his tie off and tossing it on the floor of their bedroom. “You should’ve gone to sleep a long time ago—”
Shoving the giant on the chest, Baekhyun tackled him to the bed, hands gripping tightly on the front of the man’s white shirt. “Don’t you dare cheat on me, Park Chanyeol,” he warned. His voice was tight, but it was wavering. “I swear to god, I’ll kill you… I mean it…. Don’t. Please.”
Chest heaving, Chanyeol bit his bottom lip before reaching up and pulling the brunette on him, holding his around the waist. “Never. I’d never.”
Sniffing, Baekhyun buried his face on the giant’s shoulder. “Then why were you out so late?” he meekly asked.
“Karaoke with my co-workers. Last minute invite. I’m sorry, I forgot to call.”
“Are you lying?”
“Would I ever lie to you?”
“You lie every time you say you love me…”
That part slipped and Baekhyun jerked his head up until his eyes accidentally met Chanyeol’s.
“What?”
Biting his lip, Baekhyun pulled off of the man beneath him and soon up. “It’s late. Let’s go to sleep, okay?”
Grabbing the brunette’s hand, Chanyeol kept him in place as he sat up. “What do you mean I lie to you every time I say I love you?”
“Chanyeol—”
“Baekhyun.” Chanyeol wasn’t letting it go so easily. “What is it?”
It wasn’t supposed to be an issue. They made a simple agreement, but Baekhyun couldn’t stand much of it anymore. Looking down at the giant, he sighed. “What do you say we get a divorce?”
Floored, Chanyeol drew his hand back. “What’re you saying?”
“Like…Divorce. We should just go get a divorce. I mean…Why not?”
“More like why,” Chanyeol argued. “It’s been five years. I thought we were fine.”
“We are fine, Yeol,” the brunette assured, “but it’s just that…”
Narrowing his eyes, Chanyeol frowned. God, why’d his chest kind of hurt? Fuck.
“What is it?”
“I don’t love you as a friend anymore…”
That hurt. Really. Chanyeol’s hands curled into fists resting on his knees. “Okay…” he mumbled, trying to take it in. “Okay…Um…I don’t know what to say to that?” There was an awkward laugh but Chanyeol wanted to cry a bit. “I see. Well…I mean, I guess that happens…”
“So we can’t be friends-but-married anymore… It’s what this entire thing was about.”
“Of course. I mean—”
“It was your idea at the time and I didn’t think that I’d ever—”
“I understand. It was stupid anyways. Stupid for me to even suggest and—”
“Chanyeol, it’s not going to work out if it’s only me who feels this way—”
“No, no, it’s fine. If you want a divorce then…I don’t know, Baek…Okay? Sure? I mean—” Chanyeol took in a deep breath. “If you don’t feel like you’re up for it anymore then—”
“Chanyeol, for the love of god, I’m in love with you! Not just in love, I really mean I sincerely with everything I have to give you, am in love with your dumb self. Honestly.”
For someone with big ears, Chanyeol wasn’t sure if he heard right. “You love me?”
“Yes.” Baekhyun held his breath. “But I know you don’t feel the same way, so before you get all weirded out by all this, I think if we separate, then it’s the best for us both.”
“What? No!”
“No?”
Was this was it felt like to really be alive? Chanyeol couldn’t tell. He had a feeling he was already dead. Jumping up, he quickly towered the brunette. “I don’t want a divorce.”
“But it’ll be weird!” Baekhyun argued.
“Park Baekhyun, I’ve been in your body as a ‘friend’. It really doesn’t get any weirder than marrying your best friend just for the hell of it. It’d take a lot to outdo that.”
Heaving a sigh, Baekhyun crossed his arms. “So what? You want to stay like this? Me being more than just friend-loving you?”
“That’s totally fine,” Chanyeol said, grinning as he pulled Baekhyun in for a hug. Before Baekhyun could pull out another argument, he heard the words, “If you’re alright with me more than just friend-loving you, too. Like…for the last five years.”

Mama Park opened the front door and was surprised at the sight of her son, son-in-law, and grandson. “Oh, you finally brought him home!”
Gently handing the baby over to her, Baekhyun smiled. “He’s cute.”
“Yes, he is,” Mama Park cooed as she held her grandson. “So, how’re you two doing? Still going on about that friends-but-married thing?”
Chanyeol shrugged, taking a glance at the big brown eyes looking up at him with a happy sparkle. “Either way, I’m married to my best friend.”
